Reasons to fix a hole in the wall

2)Every time your friends see it they ask you what happened and you get bleak
3)Your mom gets bleak

2) Sand an area around the hole for your patch to stick too.

3) Stick the drywall patch over the hole.Sometimes you might need to wet the patch a little for it to stick. If not you will need to use some of the patching compound.

4) Continue to use the patching compound about 10 inches or 30cm around in diameter, this will when sanded  be able to give the impression that the wall is flat.

5)It would be a good idea to wait about 20 to 30 minutes for the patching compound to dry, maybe go have a coffee or a beer.

Sand till flush.
6)Once dry you can start sanding the compound till almost flush with the wall, please remember that it wont be 100% flat so if you sand to much you might sand all the compound away.Wipe clean with a cloth and wait another 15 minutes to dry.

7)Take your texture spray and depending on the cans instructions spray the sanded area, generally you hold the can about a foot away from the wall and spray.Remember to leave it to dry over night before painting with even strokes to finish.
